Babe & Bug are turning ordinary craft supplies into extraordinary STEM creations with this Halloween-inspired Bone Bridge Challenge. Using Q-tips, popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, and clothespins, you’ll explore balance, structure, and creativity — all while designing the spookiest bridge in town!

🔬 You’ll Need:
- Q-tips (for your “bones”)
- Pipe cleaners (to connect joints — sparkly ones are extra spooky!)
- Popsicle sticks (for bridge planks)
- Clothespins (as supports or anchors)
- Optional: candy pumpkins or mini erasers for a weight test
⚙️ Step-by-Step Building Magic
1. Build Your Base:
Clip your popsicle sticks to two clothespins to create supports on each end of your bridge.
2. Connect the Bones:
Twist pipe cleaners around Q-tips to form “bone joints.” Create triangles, squares, or crisscross supports.
3. Assemble Your Bridge:
Lay the popsicle sticks across your “bone structure” to make the walkway. Use pipe cleaners to secure them in place.
4. Test Your Strength!
How many candy pumpkins or small objects can your bridge hold before it bends?
5. Redesign & Reinforce:
Try adjusting your shapes — which design holds the most weight? (Hint: triangles are super strong!)
