- 3 tablespoons borax per 1 cup very hot water
- For thicker, chunkier crystals: use up to 4 tablespoons
🥚 Step-by-Step Crystal Growing
1️⃣ Prepare the Eggshells
- Carefully crack eggs and save the shell halves
- Rinse thoroughly
- Gently peel out and discard the thin inner membrane
- Let shells dry completely
- Place shells open-side up in an egg carton
2️⃣ Color the Shells (Optional but Fun!)
- Add 1–2 drops of food coloring inside each dry shell
