Boo! 🎃 Are you ready to make a ghost appear right before your eyes?
Babe & Bug are mixing a little science with their art to create the Magic Appearing Ghost! 👻✨
With just salt and water, this project shows how crystals and light work together — and it’s perfect for kids who love a little spooky science fun!
🧠 What You’ll Need:
- Black construction paper 🖤
- Paintbrush 🖌️
- ½ cup warm water 💧
- 3 tablespoons salt 🧂
- A bowl or cup for mixing
- Paper towels (for cleanup)
🔬 How to Do It:
Step 1: Mix Your Magic Potion
Stir ½ cup of warm water with 3 tablespoons of salt until the salt dissolves completely.
Step 2: Paint Your Ghost
Dip your brush into the salt water and paint a big ghost shape on your black paper — don’t forget the eyes and mouth! 👀
Step 3: Watch and Wait
As your painting dries, the ghost will slowly appear white! The salt crystals rise to the surface and reflect light, making your ghost glow against the dark background.
Step 4: Add a Twist!
Use a cotton swab to dab extra salt water in spots for sparkly “ghost shimmer.” 👻✨
