🧪 What You’ll Need:
- 1 small to medium pumpkin
- ½ cup white school glue
- ½ cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1–2 tablespoons saline solution (with boric acid)
- Orange food coloring
- Glitter or sequins (optional for sparkle!)
- A mixing bowl and spoon
🔬 Step-by-Step Science
Step 1: Prepare Your Pumpkin
Cut the top off your pumpkin (adult help may be needed!) and scoop out the insides. Save those stringy bits and seeds — they’ll make your slime extra real!
Step 2: Mix the Slime Base
In a bowl, combine glue, water, baking soda, and orange food coloring. Stir until smooth and bright.
Step 3: Add Some Pumpkin Magic
Scoop a spoonful of pumpkin guts and seeds into your bowl — messy hands encouraged!
Step 4: Activate the Slime
Add saline solution one tablespoon at a time, stirring until the slime pulls away from the sides.
Step 5: Stretch and Explore!
Knead your pumpkin slime with your hands until it’s stretchy, smooth, and delightfully gooey.
Then scoop it back into the pumpkin for a squishy sensory surprise!
